The intense vitality of Spain is impressive, finding a wonderful expression in the vibrant, dramatic, and tragic flamenco.
In 2005, Christoph Broll founded the flamenco trio „babole” with the Andalusian flamenco guitarist David Heredia, descended from the famous gypsy clan of the same name, and the dancer Carolina Morales. The trio creates fusions with other musical styles, which are celebrated at performances in Andalusia and on Spanish television. They broaden the musical horizon and create a different kind of cultural style and language. In 2007, the Spanish filmmaker Alvaro Forque created the music clip “sustentos” featuring the trio.
This band has been presented in Spain, Germany, Belgium, Switch, Italy, and Morocco.
